| Located in the middle of a natural tropical environment, Carimã Hotel provides its guests with all the comfort, structure and services of a city: cinema, theatre, gardens, lake, sports court, shops etc. The Carimã Hotel embraces an area of 720,000 m2 and its facilities are really impressive, such as the 1,500 m2 lobby and the important capacity for events, conventions, meetings and parties. In an emergency situation, for example, this huge complex has the capacity to generate power up to 900 KWA what would be sufficient to illuminate a whole small town. The Carimã Hotel has been conceived to welcome tourists from all over the world and to host large events in an area comprising 6,000 m2 of lounges and other air conditioned facilities plus a complementing large room specially built to hold fairs, and crops, livestock or farming auctions. For all these reasons, the Carimã Hotel comes to be the biggest hotel in the Paraná State. Accomodations Carimã Hotel has 420 comfortable rooms of several categories. The rooms are of different styles and sizes, all of wich surrounded by green areas. There are Master and Executive Suite, as well a Single, Double and Triple apartments. Most of them are equipped with annexed spaces for meetings, with the needed technology, including access to the Internet. Restaurants The Carimã Hotel boasts the Picadilly and the Royale restaurants, surrounded by arcades and with capacity for 500 people. Apart from their international cuisine, special attention is paid to most of the Brazilian dishes such as "Feijoada", drinks like "Caipirinhas", typical river fish, pork baked in the Brazilian style, exotic fruit desserts and sweets. Moreover, expert cuisine Chefs and a staff of around 100 professionals are able to offer feasts, parties and cocktails on events and conventions, capable to assist up to 2,000 guests. Gastronomy at Carimã Hotel is definitely exquisite. Leisure The hotel was built in a historical site, birthplace of the regional colonization, the Carimã Valley, a natural shelter for animals and birds. Two gorgeous streams run across the area and flow into the Iguassu River, a few kilometers after the point where the Iguassu Falls, called "Cataratas", show its entire splendor. The recreation structure ha been planned in the middle of a huge green area. There you will find: tennis and basketball courts, soccer pitch, children playground and swimming pools. Surrounding this area, there are about four thousand meters of trails where the autochthonous fauna and flora can be observed.
